My router is in the extreme opposite end of my house from my computer. Signal was lowest on the scale. Bought this unit hoping for some improvement. Easy to set up using the WPS buttons on the router and the extender. Placed it in the hallway. Redirected the wifi connection for my computer and ... signal maxed out! Love this little device!

I recently bought a ChromeCast so I could take some of the movie files on my laptop and watch them on the big screen, but my TV and router are on opposite ends of the house so the stuttering and lagging were so bad it wasn't even watchable?Even after I plugged my laptop in with an extra-long ethernet cord. This little gadget was just the fix I needed; Now I'm running my laptop, ChromeCast and 3 game systems from my bedroom with no problems whatsoever. Well, except there are a few rare cases where the signal mysteriously disappears for a minute or two?but that's such a rare occurrence that it's almost non-existent. Definitely worth the price - I almost bought a more expensive device, but it was sold out so I "settled" on this one, and the only consequence is that I saved some money!
